About Pressed Fig Paperie

Pressed Fig Paperie is a fine art studio that believes colorful art should be lived in.

We paint in watercolor, gouache, oil pastel, and soft pastel. The work has intention on purpose, whether it's a landscape, floral study, or portrait.

Much of it comes from the places and things we love. The feelings that carry with us, and it shows up in our palettes, our subjects, and the way we look things.

The work

Each original is painted by hand, one at a time. Each print is an archival giclée matte premium paper, chosen because it holds color and texture the way the original intended. The paper has a soft, tactile weight, and it's made to last for hundreds of years.

Why we paint

We make art for the rooms people actually live in. It isn't meant to match a couch or follow a season. It's meant to make you feel something.

If a piece stays with you, it's done its job.
